How to reach Neil Island

To reach Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep), you first have to come to Port Blair, the capital of Andaman. Various ferries depart from here every day to Neil Island. You can take a government or private ferry (Makruzz, Green Ocean, etc.). Although the government ferry is a little cheaper, you often have to stand in line to buy tickets. And the private ferries can be booked online in advance and are much more comfortable. The ferry journey usually takes 1.5 to 2 hours. If you have visited Havelock Island before, you can also reach Blue Island by ferry from there. No matter which route you take, the blue water of the sea and the surrounding nature will make your journey memorable.
